“I have been suffering patiently for a month since the horrific incident at RG Kar Hospital and was hoping that you would intervene directly with the agitated junior doctors in Mamata Banerjee’s old way. This is not happening. , whatever punitive measures the government takes now are too little and too late, I think if the caucus of corrupt doctors were crushed and those who committed administrative misconduct were punished immediately after the scandal, the state might Return to normal sooner.

Sirka said he had made public statements urging the party and government to address corruption, but had been questioned by senior party leaders.
“However, in 2022, a year after I joined, I was extremely shocked to see public evidence of the former Minister of Education being indulged in corruption shown on television and published. I made a public statement that the party and the country must address corruption. .There is no corrupt department and well-wishers have persuaded me to remain a member of Parliament in order to continue to fight against the regime that poses the greatest threat to Indian democracy and civil liberties.
“While I carry out my mandate in Parliament with enthusiasm, I am increasingly disillusioned that the state government appears to be unconcerned with corruption and the growing use-force tactics of some leaders. As you know, I am the only one A brilliant officer as charged. So, after 41 years in IAS, I can live in a small middle-class apartment near a big slum and drive a very ordinary 9. “It’s a very old car, but I was surprised to see how many people got elected,” he added.
