In the last few years, Song Kang has become a global sensation in Korean television dramas due to his spectacular performances in many different roles. On April 5th of this year, however, the actor had to say goodbye temporarily to the big screen as he joined the military and began another chapter of his life.
Fans of Song Kang have named June 12th as Songping day. The same day was accompanied by an unexpected surprise from the star’s agency. This touching scene starts with an emotional close-up on Song Kang after he has been given a military-style buzz cut. It was then that his emotions ran high when his signature locks fell as if transformed. Even as Song Kang tried not to cry, looking at himself after letting go of tears, while members of staff consoled him.
However within the swings of mood there were also light hearted communications. Song Kang looks much like Shin-chan now that his hair is greatly shortened. As for the amused employees they call him ‘Crayon Shin-Chan’ and this made him laugh despite himself.
But this roller coaster ride did not end there.Besides just being shocked here, he explores what his head looks like and runs fingers through it. Song Kang wished his loyal followers sincerely and promised them he would do everything possible for their sake. When he bade goodbye support from devoted fans kept him up beat.
