The 2001 romantic drama “WHO” is still one of Pawan Kalyan’s most cherished films. The film was a chartbuster at the box office and directed by SJ Surya. Now, SJ Surya is preparing to release his next project titled “Saripoda Sanivaram” which stars Nani in lead role. In this regard, the director has shared an interesting story that revolves around him writing another story with Pawan Kalyan in it.
SJ Surya announced during promotional interviews for “Saripodhaa Sanivaaram” on 123. Telugu that he had penned the screenplay exclusively for Pawan Kalyan after the triumph of “Kushi”. This script is another love-story; like “Kushi”, it will be written in Telugu language. Which SJ Surya learned specifically for this project.
According to the director, at first, Pawan Kalyan was interested but production got delayed due to other commitments. This movie would have been great if Pawan Garu did it I re-visited the script and tried giving life to them. However, he told me that he isn’t interested in doing love stories anymore when we met last week. He said he needed something different from being called a lover boy no more goals but different ones. Too bad Pawan Garu didn’t make it.
Currently, Pawan Kalyan is juggling his film career and political responsibilities. These political commitments saw delays in most of his film projects as recently elected deputy chief minister Andhra Pradesh. “However, there are indications that he may soon make a comeback into movies with three big ticket ones lined up: The Call Him OG, Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – The Sword and the Spirit and Usta De Bhagat Singh”.
