At Comedy Circus New Era years, Shweta Tiwari bowled the crowd over with her perfect comic timing. Zakir Khan will also be venturing into the comedy genre again through his program called Aapka Apna Zakir.
A source associated with the show tells us, “Shweta is the only woman in an all-male cast, making her the highlight of the show. She will be ‘The IT girl’ which means she will be timeless beauty, glamorous trendsetter.” Her presence would bring a new and energetic vibe onto the stage.
Our sources also tell us that Rithvik Dhanjani and Gopal Datt are going to be part of this show too. This particular program happens to be comedian Zakir Khan’s debut as a television host. It is a multi-artist show where different characters will perform laughter or Shayariand life tips. And not forgetting about Shweta who became popular with TV audiences for her role of Prerna in Kasautii Zindagii Kay and was last seen in Main Hoon Aparajita.
She has been on several reality shows including Nach Baliye 2, Jhoom India, Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1, Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6 and Fear Factor 11th Edition: Khatron Ke Khiladi apart from participating in and winning Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur. This lady won Season 4 big boss too.” In an earlier interview Shweta had told us,” I have got offers for lots of TV programmes lately. But I made it a point not to take any roles that didn’t make me feel something. They thought if Shweta Tiwari doesn’t act she’ll never get work. I don’t see anything wrong with it; there’s too much of it out there; people pretend they haven’t seen it for long. It was not because of the fact that I thought it was a bad role that had no substance.
