The 49-year-old art collector and Delhi socialite recently shared details of her strict, health-conscious diet in an interview with a leading website, revealing how her eating habits make her beautiful from the inside out.

Shalini’s beauty diet begins with a cup of ghee, a traditional Ayurvedic ingredient known for its nourishing properties. She followed up with a handful of almonds and walnuts, which are rich in healthy fats and antioxidants. To further improve her morning routine, she drinks a mixture of beetroot juice, amla and ginger, ingredients that promote glowing skin, improve digestion and detoxify the body.
A major part of Shalini’s beauty diet includes juicing, a daily intake of celery juice, red juice, and nutrient-dense sprout juice made from sprouted seeds (pulled rather than filtered for optimal nutrition). She also adds chili sauce made from bell peppers (a rich source of vitamin C that supports skin health) and avocado (rich in healthy fats that help maintain a supple complexion).
For breakfast, Shalini likes to have ragi or jowar chilla, both of which are rich in fiber and help maintain a clear, blemish-free complexion.

Every day from 4 to 6 p.m., she undergoes a rigorous exercise program that includes an hour of dance, followed by Pilates and weight training. When it comes to protein, Shalini adds eggs, fish or chicken on days when she’s not visiting temples. However, one of the most prominent elements of her beauty diet is goat curd, which she insists on consuming daily. She believes goat curd is essential for strong bones and teeth, but its probiotic properties also contribute to gut health, supporting clearer skin and a healthier complexion.
