Very playful and Equity Benchmark Index, In the first trading hours of Wednesday it was a bit higher. Sensex increased by more than 100 points to reach 81,589 points from 81,455.40 points while Nifty added 45 points and touched 24,900 levels.
Early in today’s session ICICI Bank, Adani Ports NTPC and Tata Steel were the leading gainers while Axis Bank, Power Grid Bajaj Finserv and Tata Motors were the top losers.
The Sensex on Tuesday closed at a historical all-time high of 81,455.40 points – up by 99.56 (0.12%) with green closing marks for sixteen constituents against the remaining in red. The index opened strongly gaining 459.43 (0.56%) to make an intraday hit of 81,815.27.
The NSE closed at an all-time high of 24,857.30 points after gaining 21.20(0.09%). On that day alone it advanced by 135.65(0.54%) to close at 24971.75 points hitting its lowest point for the day at 24798.65 points.
