
New Delhi: Security forces killed a terrorist on Tuesday following a clash in Jammu and Kashmir’s Dachigam forests.
According to the Jammu and Kashmir Police, a joint operation with the Indian Army has been launched with specific inputs in the upper mountainous areas of Kashmir. Halwan region Srinagar.

According to officials, the area has been cordoned off and the terrorists are believed to be hiding there. All roads leading to the encounter site have been blocked by police.
“These exchanges of fire began during CASO (cordon and search operations) was launched by security forces after receiving specific information about the presence of terrorists in the area,” an official said.
He added: “The cordon around the area where the terrorists are believed to be hiding has been tightened. Operations resumed as soon as daybreak on Tuesday morning.”
Following a number of attacks by terrorists, security forces have recently stepped up their operations against terrorists.
Earlier on November 23, Baramulla police and security forces conducted a joint operation and busted a terrorist hideout in Kunze area of Baramulla district.
According to the police, a joint operation was launched based on reliable clues obtained during the investigation. During the search operations, the police seized arms and ammunition and destroyed hideouts, preventing any possible untoward incident and thwarting the evil plans of terrorist organizations to undermine peace and harmony in the Kashmir Valley.
