Security forces continue search operations across Jammu with officials saying that on Thursday, the region focused on forest belts in different areas to hunt down terrorists involved in four recent attacks since June 9.
“Separate cordon cum search operations are being conducted by local police, Special Operations Group (SOG), Army and paramilitary forces,” said the officials. “Also, separate searches have been done by security forces at Navarre Bypass area near Jammu,” as revealed by a woman who noticed some suspicious activities from two people.

Raisi police has also announced cash reward of Rs 20 lakh for giving any information about those involved into Sunday’s attack on tourist bus at Raisi District which left nine dead and forty one others seriously wounded.

Officials also said that search and rescue operations are underway in Nowshera in Rajouri and adjoining Poonch. In view of intelligence input regarding possible terrorist threats, security forces in Kathua, Samba and Jammu districts have been put on alert.
On Wednesday warning was issued by the police to people of Jammu region urging them to be vigilant against movement of suspicious persons and objects especially in view of intelligence inputs indicating possibility of terror threats especially Fidain attack(suicide attack), Rajouri and parts of Jammu region.
