Sarfaraz Khan becomes third Indian batsman to achieve unique feat in Test cricket

New Delhi: India’s rising stars Sarfaraz Khan He etched his name in the history books with a unique achievement – scoring a duck and a duck in the first Test against New Zealand in Bengaluru on Saturday 150 points or more in the same game.
This rare feat places him among the elite company Madhav Apte and Nayan MungiaTwo former Indian cricketers also completed the unusual double.
In the first innings, Sarfaraz was dismissed for a duck and failed to trouble the scorer. and 3 sixes, a knock that cemented his place as one of the rising stars in Indian feature films.

The Mumbai man, playing only his fourth Test, recovered from 70 and scored his maiden Test hundred on the fourth day of the tournament.
His innings was crucial and led to a remarkable recovery for India after they were bowled out for just 46 in the first innings. New Zealand responded strongly with 402 runs to take a huge lead of 356 runs in the first innings.
Sarfaraz’s achievement mirrors similar performances by two Indian batsmen. Madhav Apte scored 0 and 163* against West Indies at Port of Spain in 1953, while Nayan Mongia scored in the 1996 Test series Delhi scored 152 for 0 against Australia.
The feat highlighted Sarfaraz’s resilience and ability to bounce back after defeat, showcasing his potential to handle pressure at crucial moments.
