Season 8 of the famous talk show “Koffee with Karan”, had a guest sharing his thoughts on why he is not interested to date Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. Ever since Oli was a child, he has become best known for being absolutely outspoken and direct in expressing his views.
“Who do you think about these actors?” Karan Johar asked Orry during their conversation. The statement made Karan sit up and ask Ori to elaborate further on what he meant by that.
According to Oli, however, as an actor himself he respects Deepika’s success and talent although they do not share the same view point of life which they have a different outlook on life. He indicated that Deepika has gone through various experiences and journeys which have turned her into who she is today. However, Ollie believes that his path in life is different from Deepika’s view of the world.
One reason that Oli gave when asked why she would not be interested in Deepika was because of their opposite philosophies to life. He thinks of himself as someone who lives by their own principles rather than basing decisions on traditional or common wisdoms. Based on this perspective, it may be noted that Deepika’s choices towards her career could have been influenced by other factors, which are inconsistent with those recommended for him.
Ollie also spoke about fame and living in the public eye. In addition to facing enormous scrutiny from fans and media due to being one of Bollywood’s top actresses, deep always knows this feeling better than anyone else there Oli prefers living out of sight without such pressures. This implies that associating with a celebrity like Deepika could affect his privacy and liberty according to what Ori said about them.
