bollywood Star Ranbir Kapoor Take a trip down memory lane and recall how his grandfather and late idol Raj Kapoor Used to give him along with sisters Riddhima, Karisma and Kareena”caramel toffee”.
The actor was IFIA 2024who was seen discussing his late grandfather. He said: “Ever since I entered the film industry, wherever I go, I am always asked this question. I remember him as my grandfather, Dadaji, he was a big man with blue eyes, and my sister and I, When we would go to his house, he would often take us to his room and hide these caramel toffees in the refrigerator.
He recalled how he asked his cousins Kareena, Karishma, his sister Riddhima to line up with him.
“He used to ask us to make salam, sing avara hoon and kiss him on the cheek. Then we were bribed with caramel toffee. So my memory of him is very personal.
Ranbir shared that when he got to know the film, he got to know him better.
“Once I started to understand who he was and what his contributions were. Of course, I was the first grandchild in the family with the last name Kapoor, so of course I got a lot of love and attention. When my mom dismissed me or treated me Yelling, I used to call him and he used to call my mom and fire her.
