Kochi: A red warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall has been issued for Kerala region. The state will continue to experience severe rainfall until May 23. Reports indicated that on Saturday the south west monsoon advanced over some parts of Maldives and Comoros regions, as well as parts of southern Bay of Bengal, Nicobar Islands and southern Andaman Sea.
A red alarm There are warnings of severe rainstorms in some areas, exceeding 20 centimeters from May 20 to 22.
