A tumultuous season las vegas raiders Another hit as a defensive end. Janarius Robinson Just got suspended with pay for three games. NFL Raiders’ Janarius Robinson suspended three games
Robinson’s season was over, which was painful for both the player and the team. The news comes a day after the Raiders lost to the Atlanta Falcons – who have now lost ten consecutive Monday Night Football games. The Raiders are just 2-12 and have struggled this season due to games and injuries.
He was selected by the Minnesota Vikings with the fourth-round pick of Janarius Robinson in the 2021 NFL Draft. His perfect college career later took him to Florida State, where 105 tackles, 8 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles proved his talent—unfortunately, in his young NFL career He has struggled with injuries and inconsistency throughout his career. In addition to two seasons with the Vikings and a stint with the Philadelphia Eagles, Robinson ended up with the Raiders, where he finally began to get more playing time.
He made his debut against the Kansas City Chiefs last year and had eight tackles and one sack over the next six games. This season, he played in ten games, recording 12 tackles and half a sack. While Robinson had a chance to get more playing time, he wasn’t able to claim a starting role on the Raiders’ defense. His performance in training camp left coaches unimpressed and further limited him.
Robinson’s suspension could inflict more pain on the Raiders’ defense already dealing with injuries. Other absences have included injuries to the likes of Max Crosby and Malcolm Coons. Even as Robinson performs as a backup, his role becomes increasingly important to the team’s attempts to survive against a severely depleted defense.
Losing Robinson for the remaining three games of the season further reduces the depth of the under-pressured Raiders defense. They’ve missed him terribly this season as his contributions have been fairly minimal, but his impressive size and strength have given him recognition in Florida and he will be viewed as an asset during this trying time.

However, the suspension puts Robinson’s future in the league into question. The legal troubles he encountered earlier this year, as well as his continued inconsistent performances on the field, won’t make it easier for him to secure a long-term role in the future. With just three games remaining in a disappointing season, the team must find a way to overcome defensive shortcomings and finish the season stronger.
