Rahul Tripathi, a Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batsman, was deeply saddened and upset by an unfortunate ill-luck run-out on Tuesday in the crucial Qualifier 1 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Disheartened, due to dismissal being untimely it would have changed everything for his team as they go forth. Therefore he became despondent and crushed when Tripathi’s exit from the wicket cost SRH about 200 runs.
In astonishment and shock, Rahul Tripathti could be seen sitting on the steps after his unhappy running out. The emotional weight of this pointed to Tripathi’s reaction as he attempted to come to grips with the unexpected turn of events.
Having slumped to 39/3, SRH needed a counterattack; that came from Rahul Tripathi (55 off 35), but it was not enough. Each of those boundaries helped SRH keep moving forward while under immense pressure but there was no major support found for him beyond Klaasen who has put up a fifty partnership with him which was dismissed at 62 runs with an aim of getting more runs toward total nearing two hundred.
Tripathi’s innings demonstrated his great batting skill because he handled bowlers very nicely. His ability to make a meaningful contribution towards his team is evidenced by these excellent performance. However, Ravi Nair had blocked short mid-on and therefore when Samad called yes Tripatti thought that he meant no so he stopped and walked back.
The confusion resulted into a run out because neither player understood each other thus terminating prematurely his time at the crease. Unfortunately it ended disappointingly despite impressive batting leaving fans wondering what if their partnership went unbroken.
Andre Russell made a fantastic effort in the field for KKR by catching the SRH batter halfway down the pitch at probably zero run offer. At this point SRH was struggling because of Tripathi’s dismissal which was later followed by their team being bowled out in 19.3 overs for only 159 runs.
