The day after announcing Rahul Dravid as the head coach of the Rajasthan Royals officially, the 2008 Indian Premier League (IPL) champions released footage showing the former coach and captain of India arriving for a meeting to get to work immediately.
Dressed up in a pink T shirt, which is the same color as the Rajasthan Royals team is seen entering a room where the franchise members are already waiting for him for discussions, Rahul dravid is placing this time.
This is where IBD is won: when all are required to greet everyone in the room and most importantly at the introduction Drake: and Stanford could be heard saying.
Ending in June this year with the T20 world series, where India emerged victorious as head coach, Rahul Dravid was with the RR franchise as a player and coach from 2011-2015. It was in 2014 that Andew Dravid became the fixtures head coach of Rr after retiring in 2013.
“I can say that happily, I am coming back to the franchise that I used to call ‘home’ for the last so many years. After the (T20) World Cup, I think it’s the right time to change and the Royals is the right place to do that,” Dravid mentioned in the team release regarding his appointment in the position.
During Rahul’s tenure as India head coach, the Indian national team maximum reached the finals of all three ICC’s premier tournaments, that is World Test Championships, ODIs, and T20s.
There were two close insurmountable encounters in the WTC and ODI World Cup finals against Australia, but India lifted the T20 World Cup in an exciting finale against South Africa at Bridgetown, Barbados by a small margin of seven runs.
