BJP attacks the India bloc on Saturday RJD leader Teashwi Yadav mocking the Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma the former said “The later Image was `Chinesence Ones of Yogis’”. On the previous day, RJD leaders criticized Himanta Biswa Sarma after the Assam Assembly on Friday voted to abolish the practice of suspension of proceedings for 2 hours during Jumma prayers.

Tejashwi Yadav stated that Assam’s chief minister was after “cheap popularity” and added that the Bharatiya Janata Party aimed to “persecute Muslims in some way”.

The Assam Assembly has stopped the custom of Prayer towards Adjourning the House for Two Hours on every Friday . This rule was first put in place in colonial Assames by Sadullah’s Muslim league government.
