
New Delhi: Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Ajit Pawar Reacting to the audio clip released by the BJP on Wednesday, attributing it to Supriya Sule She was accused of using illegal “Bitcoin activities” to fund the Maharashtra poll campaign. Pawar confirmed it was his sister’s voice because he could “judge it from their tone of voice”.
Sule retorted: “He is Ajit Pawar, he can say anything.”
“Whatever audio clip is played, I just know that I worked with both of them. One of them is my sister and the other is someone I’ve worked with many times. Their voices are in the audio clip and I can figure it out. Judging from their tone,” he told reporters after casting his vote in Baramati constituency.
He added: “The investigation will be completed and everything will be clear.”
The BJP on Tuesday released an audio clip accusing Maha Vikas Aghadi, including Congress Maharashtra president Nana Patole and the NCP SP’s Supriya Sule participates”Illegal Bitcoin Activity” to fund their polling activities.

Previously, former IPS officer Ravindranath Patil, who was implicated in a 2018 cryptocurrency scam, claimed that Sule and Patole used Bitcoins from the scam to fund the scam maharashtra election.
Meanwhile, Sule rejected all the charges and lodged a complaint with the Election Commission and the cyber crime cell of Maharashtra Police, naming former IPS officers Ravindranath Patil and Gaurav Mehta. She demanded that an FIR be filed against them for spreading “false and malicious messages” alleging that they were using Bitcoin to fund state elections.
