Although He’s not the captain yet, but I’m pretty sure in the leadership team, when you step into that role and lead other people, it gives you that extra responsibility, which is good and I think that’s good for a young guy like that is very good.
Gill recently led India to a 4-1 victory over Zimbabwe in the T20I series, providing him with valuable captaincy experience. His leadership potential was also recognized and he was appointed vice-captain in T20Is and ODIs.
