Honda Cars India New and updated launched today honda surprise in the Indian market. The new third-generation Amaze features unique exterior design, new interior, additional features, improved safety, etc. The sub-compact sedan is available in three variants – V, VX, ZX, priced from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 10.89 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). As a result, the new Honda Amaze has become the most affordable ADAS-equipped car in the country. Please note that these prices are introductory and are valid for 45 days from today.
In terms of design, the new Amaze sports a large, upright grille and also features dual-pod projector headlights. Below, it adopts a simple and neat bumper design and is equipped with projector fog lights. From the side, it looks similar to the outgoing car and features newly designed 15-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in 185-section tyres. It is worth noting that the position of the rearview mirror has been moved from the pillar to the door.
The rear of the new Amaze looks very similar to the City. The taillights, decklid design and rear bumper are very similar to the City, maintaining a similar family look. Other exterior highlights include LED headlights, Z-shaped LED taillights, a shark fin antenna and a chrome strip above the grille that runs across the hood. The new Amaze was designed at Honda’s Asia Pacific R&D center in Thailand and overall, the new Amaze seems to draw inspiration from the Elevate and Honda City.
Going inside, the overall interior layout looks similar to the Elevate. The sedan is equipped with a 10.25-inch stand-alone infotainment system and digital instrument cluster. Other features include automatic climate control, 6-speaker audio system, rear AC vents, 460 liters of luggage space, wireless charger, air-conditioning remote start, Honda Connect connected car technology with free 5-year subscription, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Six airbags, ABS, EBD and sensor-based ADAS system.
The new Amaze will retain the same engine, which is a 90 hp, 110 Nm, 1.2 liter, 4 cylinder, NA petrol engine with a choice of 5-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission. The CVT car has a claimed fuel efficiency of 19.46 kmpl and the 5-speed MT has a claimed fuel efficiency of 18.65 kmpl. As standard, the company offers a 3-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty. Interested customers can book an extension up to 7 years with no limit on the number of kilometers.
