NEET UG 2024 revised cutoff: On July 26, the national testing agency announced the revised results of the 2024 National Medical Undergraduate Qualifying Examination (NEET UG). The decision was taken based on the Supreme Court’s July 23 order.
The court directed the NTA to correct the error of scoring two answers in the multiple-choice question in physics and noted that option 4 should be the only option considered as the correct answer.
Subsequently, after releasing the revised scorecard two days later, NTA also released a new merit list and announced the new NEET UG 2024 Topper list. Additionally, new deadlines for all categories have also been notified. Notably, as per the notification, the cutoff for the unreserved (UR) category has been dropped by two points.

For candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Class categories, the NEET UG cutoff is set at 161-127. Similarly, for SC, ST and OBC-PH candidates, the cutoff range is 143 to 127.
