NCP (SCP) asks Supreme Court to freeze ‘clock’ symbol and demand use of new symbol for Ajit Pawar’s party till completion of case | Parami News

As the Maharashtra state assembly elections are upon the political stage, the NCP led by Sharad Pawar is nearly getting to the Supreme Court With the request not to allow the use of the original `clock’ logo of the NCP till the hearing of the case in the Supreme Court. Supriya spoke to reporters when her party applied to the Supreme Court. She remarked, “We have made the request that both factions should be granted fresh ruling so that the dispute becomes moot and the case is resolved. Similarly, since we have been granted a fresh symbol, so their side also there has to be a fresh symbol.”

Since the change of symbol, NCP (SCP) has participated in the Lok Sabha elections, now just before the elections of the Maharashtra Assembly the party is enjoying the legal wrestling for its plea in the Supreme Court. “We are optimistic that our plea will be decided on an expedited manner. Our plea is already being offended in the Lok Sabha and the bystanders of the party are perplexed with the head. The next date of hearing for this case is Wednesday,” Supriya said.

Sharad Pawar’s party vs. election committee The Supreme Court order was issued after India wrote back to the original party of Ajit Pawar faction and the party lost its emblem after the National Congress Party was divided.

“Sharad Pawar is a foundational member of the NCP which is his party. Such power has been enjoyed by the founding members of this party and its president as per the democratic constitution of the party.
