With respect to the Guidelines issued by the Jammu and kashmir traffic police and the Navratra festival period October 3-12, all efforts have been made to make the visit to Kalimata temple Jammu and Bagh-e-Bahu more enjoyable for the pilgrims visiting in Candori period.

The consultation intends to reduce traffic congestion and improve the movement of vehicles on the roads that lead to the temple.

A post by Jammu and Kashmir Police on the residents of Jammu and People of Jammu and Kandoli Mata Nagrota states that those who are visiting in 2024 are advised to take certain routes to their respective temples so that the adjacent routes are not traffic stressed or chaotic.

One of the many ways to keep the flow of traffic unimpeded especially in areas that have many Shoulder Temple traffic includes the use of one way vehicular flow August 17 2006. It was decided that vehicles would deviate from P/S Bagh-e-Bahu crossing proceeding to Qasim Nagar and then on Bye Pass Road NHW and Forest Check and then to Kali Mata Mandir. In this period, everybody was barred from moving to Bagh-Bahu through Bahu Fort Road.

To avoid traffic disruptions, the traffic police normally urge tourists and automobile drivers to follow one way roads to reduce chances of traffic jams.

Heavy ready mixed concrete (HMR) trucks are prevented from coming into the Bagh-e-Bahu/Bahu-fort locality from Bye-Pass Naka NHW (Sidhra Road) twelve hours during the period of Navratra.

While addressing their religious practices, the devotees and the general audience should be restrained only to the protected vehicle parking spaces and not any part of the roadside. Illegally parked vehicles on the percent of the road stretch will be subject to the regard of the MV Act.

City Circle Parking lots includes Bagh-e-Balau, New JDA Parking Lot, main paid parking Area in front of Bagh-e-Bahu Mandir, Government High School Bagh-e-Bahu Ground and Bagh-e-Bahu Railway Parking Area.

The traffic police were also requesting the public’s help to the drivers so as not to make a ride to the above routes during these religious activities.

Likewise, people going to Dham Kandoli Mata Nagrota during the period of Navratre are advised to keep their vehicles at the parking places near the temple instead of on the road.
