Situated on the tranquil banks of the Waldevi River near Nashik, Anna Ganapati Navgraha Sidapitham is an extraordinary spiritual destination. It is the only Navagraha temple in Maharashtra and has a striking height of 42 feet Ganapati idol with four faceseach symbolizing peace (sukh), prosperity (samriddhi), health (aarogya) and longevity (aayu). This architectural marvel is the pinnacle of spiritual vision and traditional Hindu philosophy.
The establishment of the temple is attributed to spiritual leader and Vedic astrologer Dattayogi Swami Shri Anna Guruji, who envisioned this holy place after divine revelation. The design of this temple resonates with Vedic principles and incorporates the importance of the nine planetary gods (Navagrahahas) who are believed to influence human life. The temple complex also includes small shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, Maa Chamundeshwari and Kartikeya, embodying the complete Shiva Parivar.
Apart from its spiritual nature, the unveiling of the idol also included a ceremonial consecration ceremony, which included offerings of Abhishekam of 1.25 lakh liters of milk and ten million Rudraksha. These sacred Rudraksha are now distributed to devotees as blessings.
The temple’s unique four-sided Ganapati idol is described in ancient texts such as the “Mudgal Purana” as one of the 32 important forms of Ganesha, representing divine energy that can bestow fame, success and happiness from all directions. Visitors are attracted not only by its spiritual energy but also by its harmonious blend of faith and Vedic science, as the temple is a center for astrological healing and prayers to mitigate planetary influences
This sacred site continues to attract pilgrims from across the country, providing a peaceful and powerful space for spiritual reflection and devotion.
