India celebrated world environmental day on Wednesday by naming Nagi and nakti bird sanctuary- 2 man-made reservoirs exist in jaja forest range of chamuy district in bihar – as the latest wetlands This wetland is significant to the Ramsar Convention thus increasing the number of internationally recognized wetlands in India to 82.
The addition of two new wetlands puts India into third place with the number of wetlands in China. Ramsar site’. In this regard, there has been an increase from 26 Indian websites among member countries’ list to 82 original sites during the last ten years only added forty new ones for three years
