Mumbai man dies after collapsing at police station; family claims abuse

The incident took place at 3 am on Wednesday when Jadhav went to the police station to lodge a complaint against his employees, who had already complained to the police about an altercation over unpaid wages.
Jadhav’s family claimed that his death was due to abuse by police at the station, which they believe led to his untimely death.
According to Jogeshwari police, Jadhav collapsed after leaving the washroom of the police station. He was immediately sent to trauma care unit He was declared dead at 4:44 am in Jogeshwari (east).
Refuting the allegations made by Jadhav’s family, DCP (Zone Take to hospital.
A police officer from Jogeshwari police station confirmed that the investigation was conducted in front of the cameras in the presence of Naib Tehsildar of Trauma Care Centre. No external injuries were found on Jadhav’s body.

Information gathered during the investigation is used to register the death, not the trial. The case will now be handed over to the Crime Branch for further investigation, including the allegations made by Jadhav’s family.
