MM Keeravani brought to India the long awaited Global recognition and Oscar winner In the “Best Original Song” categorynatunatu’from SS Rajamouli ‘deposit reserve ratio’. Across the country, the musician celebrated his prestigious victory but not many days ago he confessed that of all his songs it was not his best.
Jiravani, who has produced global blockbusters such as the epic Baahubali series, reflected on its global success and told The Parami News: “Look, sooner or later, a globally recognized song Neither is my best. That’s all I can say. But when recognition has to come, it will come from any corner, but is it late? Sometimes you feel it’s late because your life is fix. That’s when your lifespan is not fixed it’s called sooner or later.
MM Keeravani’s upcoming project involves composing music for Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha directed by Neeraj Pandey. Keeravani stated that composers usually compose something in a desperate attempt to impress film-makers which he never felt like doing with Neeraj at any point in time. He emphasized that in this profession there was no pretense or affectation among them.
At 95th Academy Awards held in March 2023 MM Keeravani delivered a touching speech. As he presented Oscar with carpenter, I grew up listening to him; now I am presenting award with Oscar. One wish only dwells me in my heart and Rajamouli wants same thing for our family. RRR must win and it is pride of every Indian, I need permission to sit on champion throne.
