Meenakshi Seshadri, a famous actress from 1990s, is known for her grace and charm; she recently posted a video showcasing the Indian idea of ‘shringaar’, which she describes as “inherent” “femininity.”

90s heartthrob Meenakshi, who has acted in films like Damini, Shahenshah shared her stunning figure on Instagram. kanjivaram saree red and white.

This was paired by the 60-year-old actress with a matching white blouse.

For makeup Meenakshi had gone for nude brown glossy lips that matched kohl-like eyes which highlighted her forehead and completed with small round red bindi.

In a messy curly bun hairdo with gajra adornment on it.

The lehenga was accessorized by the Ghatak actress with golden and red gold bangles.

Also in the video is seen holding ghungroo in her hand.

Women have always been presented as beauty personified since time immemorial. It is ornate and embellished. In India Shringara is essential to women’s culture.

Further talking about the shoot, Meenakshi wrote: “I had an opportunity to work together with photographer Suchhal in my hometown Dallas, USA. He enjoyed his art of photography being noble yet joyous as well as graceful but seductive almost painting.”

In our shoot together we chose very simple classic kanjeevaram saree in pure white and velvet red wavy lines scatter all over it said Meena.

She continued: “The look was meant to celebrate Indian women’s beauty from the ringlets on my delicate head to the red bindi between my eyebrows and featuring bangles along with bells. For every dancer Ankle bells are angelic blessings that are sacrosanct in classical dance of India.”

Meenakshi loves India’s diverse cultures saying that “I am very proud that India has a rich textile heritage, from cotton to silk, in various colours, patterns and designs.”

“My eyes reflect the shine of the silk delicately as I look at these photos and remember my mother being so fond of it as she gave me this Saari before my wedding. This is also my gift to you for each one of you who have been presented with Saari women coming to you with the timeless saree your mom gave you,” she ended.

Meenakshi has acted in films like Allah Rakha, Dacait, Gangaa Jamunaa Saraswati, Toofan, Teri Payal Mere Geet and Ghar Parivar among others on her professional front.
