According to a report by movie tracking Twitter forum Kerala Box Office, “Turbo” will have a wide release and has been confirmed to premiere on more than 500 screens.

There are speculations that the film could break the opening box office record and rival Vithak’s previous blockbuster Mohanlal-starrer Pulimurugan.

‘Turbo’ is slated to release on May 23 and is already creating a buzz with the first show scheduled to start at 9 am, giving Mammootty’s latest venture an exciting start.

The recently released trailer showcases high-octane action sequences, with Kannada actor Raj B Shetty giving a power-packed performance as the villain. The 133-second trailer introduces Mammootty’s character Jose, known as Turbo Jose for his impressive action skills. As the trailer unfolds, viewers can see intense fights and confrontations, setting the stage for a thrilling showdown between the villains played by Jose and Raj B. Shetty.
“Turbo” is directed by Vithak of “Pulimurugan” fame, while the script is by Midhu of “Anjam Patiala” and “Abraham Santhasikal” fame Written by En Manuel Thomas. The film features a diverse cast, including respected Kannada actor-director Raj B Shetty and Telugu star Sunil, both making their Malayalam debut and starring Key role. Joining them are actors Anjana Jayaprakash, Kabir Duhan Singh, Siddique, Shabareesh Varma and Dileesh Pothan.
