Popular producer Shaji Kailas and Mammootty’s evergreen classic action drama film Vallitan is all set to be re-released in theaters. According to the latest update, the film will be re-released in 4K Dolby Atmos for richer visual and audio quality.
Alakar Madhavanuni’s powerful dialogues and screen presence made this action film a landmark in Malayalam cinema. The movie hit the big screen in 2000.

With a script written by Ranjith and a cast that included Kalabhavan Mani, Manoj K Jayan, Shobana, NF Varghese, etc., Valluettan ended up being one of the highest-grossing films of 2000. With the remake of “Jyeshta” starring Vishnuvardhan in the English language, Suresh Krishna’s direction failed to match the level set by the Mammootty starrer.

Ravi Varman, known for capturing stunning visuals in films like “Goliyon Ki Raasleela”, “Barfi”, has handled the cinematography of this Mammootty starrer, the songs are composed by Mohan Sithara, the background Music is composed by Rajamani.
Meanwhile, Mammootty’s Paleri Manikyam was recently re-released but unfortunately, it failed to garner much attention from the audience, resulting in a drop in box office collections. Classic crime drama Aavanazhi is also scheduled to be re-released next year.
Since Mammootty’s character Arackal Madhavanunni has such a huge fan base, the re-release of Valithan is sure to be a huge hit with the audience.
On the other hand, Mammootty’s previous appearance was in the action film “Turbo”, which was a huge success. Mammootty is about to release the most awaited film Bazooka.
