Sindhu had some impressive wins on her way to the finals, notably her semi-final win over Thailand’s Busannan Onbamlongphan. Overcoming recent struggles with form and fitness, Sindhu’s win at the Malaysia Masters highlighted her unwavering dedication and resilience in the face of adversity.
In the semifinals, Xindu had a fierce battle with the Busan team for 88 minutes and finally won with a score of 13-21, 21-16, 21-12. Despite losing in the final, Sindhu’s performance in the tournament marked a resurgence for her as she had struggled with motivation issues after suffering a knee injury earlier in the season.
With an aggressive playing style and renewed energy, Sindhu’s performance at the Malaysia Masters has been a huge boost to her confidence as she sets her sights on the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics.
