
local car manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra Two new electric vehicles – XEV 9e and Be 6e – were recently launched in the Indian market. These two electric vehicles have attracted the attention of many consumers with their excellent pricing, unique futuristic design, features, technology and performance. Mahindra has only announced prices for the base trims of the XEV 9e and Be 6e (called Pack One), which do not include the charger, which can be purchased separately.

The XEV 9e is priced at Rs 21.90 lakh and the Be6e at Rs 18.90 lakh (both ex-showroom, introductory prices). Both models also feature smaller 59kWh battery box. In this article, we take a look at the features of the Pack one (entry-level) trims of these two electric vehicles.
Mahindra Be 6e
First package: 1.89 million (ex-showroom)
The Be6e Pack is equipped with a 59kWh battery and has a MIDC range of 542 kilometers. It is paired with a single PMSM electric motor that outputs 231 hp and 380 Nm of torque.

Other features include the car being equipped with two 12.3-inch screens – touch screen infotainment system, digital instrument panel – powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. it provides Connected car technology Features select remote features, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, OTA updates and 5G connectivity. Rear-seat passengers have access to external device compatibility, as well as pre-installed OTT, social media, news and shopping apps, as well as built-in Amazon Alexa, four speakers and two tweeters, fabric upholstery, push-button start/stop, Automatic climate control with rear AC vents, keyless entry and start, 150-litre luggage compartment, cooled glovebox and 65W Type-C ports front and rear. On the safety front, it comes with six airbags, rear disc brakes and brake-by-wire technology, as well as rear cameras and sensors for added safety. It also comes with a tire pressure monitor, electronic parking brake, driver drowsiness detection system, automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers.
Mahindra XEV 9e
First package: 2.19 million (ex-showroom)
The Mahindra XEV 9e Pack one version is powered by a 59 kWh battery pack with a MIDC range of 542 kilometers. It is equipped with a PMSM motor that can output 231 horsepower and 380 Newton meters of torque.

Other features include three 12.3-inch screens (passenger screen, touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument cluster) and connected car technology including selected remote functions. It supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, offers OTA updates, and offers external device compatibility for rear-seat passengers. Built-in Amazon Alexa is also included, while the audio system includes four speakers and two tweeters. The interior features fabric upholstery, and the vehicle offers automatic climate control with rear AC vents, keyless entry, a 150-litre boot and a cooled glove box. It also features front and rear 65W Type-C ports, second-row seats with 60:40 split folding and reclining capabilities, and driver seat height and seat belt adjustments. Other features include tilt and telescopic steering adjustability and cruise control.
On the safety front, it has six airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, brake-by-wire technology, rear camera, tire pressure monitor, driver drowsiness detection system, automatic headlights and wipers.
