Madikeri: Madikeri Assembly constituency has received a massive allocation of Rs 250 million through the Chief Minister’s Special Sanctions Scheme for various development works, including road development.
Distribution of the total allocation includes Rs 30 million for Madikeri Municipal Council; Rs 20 million for Madikeri Municipal Council Kushanagarh cityand allocated Rs 1 crore for Somwarpet Town Panchayat.
The remaining Rs 19 crore was used for road development in Gram Panchayat areas, with each Panchayat getting about Rs 45 lakh.
