Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said he looks forward to his forthcoming visit to Russia on Monday, during which he will review all aspects of the Russia bilateral cooperation with his “friend” Russian President Vladimir Putin. Prime Minister Modi has also expressed keenness to review all aspects of bilateral cooperation with President Vladimir Putin and to exchange views on different regional and global matters.
“I will be undertaking an official visit to the Russian Federation for the 22nd Annual Summit and shall be making my first ever visit to Republic of Austria in the next three days,” said Prime Minister Modi in a statement.
“in the last few years this part.. The past ten years have seen India-Russia relations make significant strides. This is a special and privileged strategic partnership between them that includes energy, security, trade & investments; healthcare; education; culture, tourism and people-to-people exchanges.
According to ANI, Vinay Kumar, Indian Ambassador to Russia said that two leaders would also talk about progress made by their countries in bilateral ties and other regional issues of mutual concern.
Prime Minister Modi will arrive in Moscow from Ankara on Monday afternoon where he will be welcomed by Russian President Vladimir Putin for a private lunch. The following day he will interact with members of the Indian community living in Russia. Then he’ll go to Kremlin and pay homage at Tomb of Unknown Soldier before visiting exhibition grounds at capital city.
His last trip was when Prime Minister Modi visited Vladivostok in Far East Region-2019. The BRICS group comprises Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa as its members.
