Lokesh Kanagaraj and his team wanted to give an actor in ‘Coolie’ a ‘Padayappa’ appearance initially. However, this did not happen, because he did not create it as expected, and also turned over actor’s appearance. Even so, Lokesh Kanagaraj managed to provide a cute look for Rajinikath who, like his fans, wear retro clothes. This was shared by “Coolie” fashion designer Pravin Raja during his recent conversation with Cinema Vikatan on YouTube.
Reportedly, “coolies” will be a period gangster drama that centers around gold smuggling. Under Lokesh Kanagaraj’s direction Rajinikanth will portray a villain. It is another superstar actor’s new avatar by Lokesh kanagaraj created. Initially “Coolie” had planned to start production on 10 June but due to delays in pre-production date of shooting got postponed. Now and July coolie will begin shooting soon after which Rajinikanth along with this unit would be involved for about several days.
Rajinikanth will next be seen on the big screen in TJ Gnanavel’s Vettaiyan; he is about to start dubbing for his part very shortly. Vettaiyan arrives in October this year and aims at Dussehra weekend according to makers.
