Sweet Home, Lee Jin-wook, Song Kang, Go Min-shi and others are the hit actors of Netflix series where they once again returning for its third season and fans are going to be in for a treat. The series, based on a webtoon of the same name, traces the journey of a lonely high school student as he moves into a new apartment just when monsters begin wreaking havoc among humans. Residents find themselves unable to leave the building and must fight for their lives.
In Season 3, however, it becomes even more intense as it tackles the complex emotions and character growth connected with the world’s shift from monsters to another stage of humanity. How do we get into each character’s story?
“Season two focused on stories of people facing crisis and being trapped while fighting monsters, while season three delves deeper into character development,” he said in one breath conveying all silently different feelings at solving the mystery.
Fans can expect Sang Wook (Li Jinxu) who fights against Hyun Soo (Song Kang) and tries to maintain his humanity; Yi Kyung (Lee Si Young) who protects Kid (Kim Si Ah); Deok In Hwan who insists on his sense of responsibility while trying to protect people.
As he concluded he stated that “Viewers can anticipate each character’s unique way of dealing with the crisis – from Sang-wook (played by Lee Jin-wook) who turns evil, to Hyun-soo (played by Song Kang) who strives to remain human, and Lee Kyung (played by Lee Kyung). Lee Si-young) and Deok In-hwan (Yoo Oh-sung), they try to protect their children (Kim Shi-ah), while Deok-in-hwan(Yoo Oh-sung) tries to protect people with a sense of responsibility.”
The casts were also thrilled about the forthcoming phase. The new season was described as “a search for equilibrium during chaotic transitions” by Lee Jin-wook, whereas Lee Si-young stressed the idea of birth and development of new humans. Gao Minsi He, who plays Eun Yu, declared that audiences should expect “some desperate and intense action scenes” on the edge of their seats.
On his part, Jung Jinyoung, who acts as Chanyoung, said that he would participate in filming the last episode with a sense of duty. He shared: “In the third season of this series’ last season I shot it with a sense of responsibility. This has been a precious and meaningful project.”
Liu Wucheng thinks about what “Sweet Home” means for him professionally and says, “‘Sweet Home’ made me really think deeply about my life as an actor”. This is something both Oh Jung-se (plays Dr. Lim) and Kim Moo-yeol (plays Yeong-hyuk) express their gratitude for engaging in such a talented team and creating a film which has large global context.
Kim Si Ah who has worked on the show since its inception shared her heartfelt experience and underscored how much it meant to see her character grow over time. She stated: “It was quite interesting during all those years we have been filming Sweet Home series; to be able to watch my person throughout from start to finish proved priceless.”

Lee Jin Wook whose real name is Kim Hyung Soo was born on September 16, 1981 in Korea. Lee Jin-wook is famous for his roles in popular TV series such as “Need Romance 2” (2012), “Nine: Nine Time Travels” (2013), “The Three Musketeers” (2014) and “Goodbye Mr. Black”. (2016).
A rising star in the Korean entertainment industry, born on April 23, 1994 is Song Kang. He took his film arts course at Konkuk University and rose to fame through TV series namely “Beautiful Vampire” (2018) and “When the Devil Calls Your Name” (2019). Li Siying was initially know as Li Eunlai having been born on April 17, 1982. She doubles up as an actress and amateur boxer. Additionally, she has featured in the television series such as “Boys Over Flowers” (2009) and “Love You a Thousand Times” (2009). Li Shiying also made herself known by winning the 24th National Amateur Boxing Championship in 2013.
