The concept photos are divided into two interesting themes: “strong” and “soft”.
In the “Strong” version, the six members of KATSEYE – Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia and Yoonchae – are as elegant as porcelain dolls. A side that is both powerful and refined. Each member’s individual personality shines through, reflecting the group’s ability to seamlessly blend contrasting elements.
The “soft” version, on the other hand, transports fans to an antique store environment. Here, the members are enveloped in a retro atmosphere, their mysterious gazes hinting at hidden treasures waiting to be discovered. Adding an interactive element, some photos feature “dreamy charms,” which are each member’s personal symbols, such as “Guardian Shield” and “Soothing Seashell.” These charms invite fans to delve deeper into the band’s legend and aspirations.
KATSEYE’s debut EP SIS (Soft Is Strong) will be released on August 16 at 1 pm (KST). The album features five songs, including pre-release singles “Debut” and “Touch,” as well as new tracks “My Way,” “I’m Pretty” and “Tonight I Might.”
According to HYBE and Geffen Records, the EP reflects KATSEYE’s core message of embracing diversity. The statement read: “‘SIS (Soft Is Strong)’ embodies one of the core messages KATSEYE aims to convey, reflecting their diverse backgrounds, cultures and languages. We hope to receive enthusiastic support and interest from music fans around the world.”
