A letter has been written by the duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton a British Princess to a regiment apologizing for her non attendance at Saturday’s parade because of undertaking preventative cancer treatment and she also hopes that she will come back soon.
“Despite my being your Colonel, I regret not accepting salute for this year’s ceremony. The head of the department. Irish Guards.”, Kate Middleton wrote.
“Though my apologies are for everybody, I still wish to do it again on their behalf.” She appended.
The social media platform X had a post dated June 3 by Irish Guards stating they were grateful for having received such a missive from our Colonel Her Royal Highness, The Princess of Wales whom we wish nothing but good luck on her recovery and best wishes. Quis Separabit?” The Irish Guards wrote.
In May Prince William, next in line to be king of England had said that his wife was ‘progressing well’ following surgery after which she was diagnosed with bowel cancer and now undergoing further treatment and rehabilitating.
The preceding week prior to Trooping the Color celebrations marking the queen’s birthday saw an older tobacco smoking Parade by the Irish Guard where Kate Middleton was colonel.
