Over the course of the episode, the actors had a great time on the sets with Kapil and his fellow artists. On Wednesday, the makers shared a clip from the show, which shows Kapil asking Kajol if he got any advice from Ajay, who is playing a cop for the first time in “Do Patti”. To this, Kajol replied, “No, because I was the one who trained him to sing ‘Singham'” and laughed.
Elsewhere in the episode, Kriti asked her senior actress if there was any truth to the legend that the film would have succeeded if Kajol had collapsed on the sets. When Kajol nodded, Kriti told her to inform her as it would ensure the success of the film.
Kajol and Kriti had previously worked together in Dilwale, which also starred Bollywood icons Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan.
“Do Patti” also marks Kriti’s debut as a producer. The National Award-winning actress will be seen playing a dual role in this thriller written by Kanika Dhillon of ‘Manmarziyaan’ fame.
The film will be streamed on OTT giant Netflix, which also owns The Great Indian Kapil Show.
Meanwhile, Kapil’s show also stars Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur and Archana Puran Singh. Season two promises to celebrate India and its rich culture with the country’s superstars.
