JEE Advanced 2024 Top Candidates List: JEE Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has announced the results of the Joint Entrance Examination JEE Advanced 2024 today (June 9, 2024). The exam was held on May 26, with a total of 180,200 candidates taking part in Paper 1 and Paper 2.Of these, 48,248 candidates qualified for the next stage, including 7,964 women.

How is the JEE Advanced 2024 rank list prepared?
According to a notice issued by the examination agency, the ranking list is determined based on the total score of candidates’ mathematics, physics, and chemistry scores. To be included in the ranked list, candidates must achieve subject and overall qualifying marks. The notice adds the following content –
- Calculation of total score: The total score is the sum of the scores in mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
- Maximum total score: 360 (180 points each for Paper 1 and Paper 2).
- Maximum score in Mathematics: 120 (60 points each for Paper 1 and Paper 2).
- Maximum score in Physics: 120 (60 points each for Paper 1 and Paper 2).
- Maximum score for Chemistry: 120 (60 points each for Paper 1 and Paper 2).
