JD(U) elects Sanjay Jha as party working president | Parami News

Nitish Kumar Chief Minister of Bihar JD(U) which is also called party Janata Dal United secured the Lok Sabha on Saturday Sanjay Jha Working chairman.

This decision was taken during the party’s national executive meeting in New Delhi. The meeting had been convened to deliberate on the prevailing political situation as well as for preparations ahead of 2025 Bihar Assembly elections.

Additionally, Nitish Kumar who is one of the key constituents at Centre NDP led Government has requested a special financial package from central government for his state.

On the other hand, while speaking before Bihar assembly polls Ashwini Kumar Choubey, former Union Minister and BJP leader said that he wanted NDA to form a government with majority in state.

Choubey stated that “the BJP should come into power directly” adding that it would be accompanied by allies. He averred that we shall decide chief ministerial candidate after election but made it clear “no imports”

Bihar will go to poll a 243-member legislative assembly in October 2025.
