In a recent article, Maharashtra Cabinet Ministers and Senior Officials NCP leader Chagan Bhujbal made fun of the RSS Mouthpiece organizer for blaming his party instead of the bjp poor performance in recent Lok Sabha elections.
“NCP cannot be faulted for the poor performance of the alliance. According to Bhujbal, BJP’s support has been waning not only in Maharashtra but in other parts as well.” Some reason could account for this.
An article by one Ratan Sharda, a columnist and a member of RSS stated that “joining the BJP-Shiv Sena government led by Ajit Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) is a no-brainer” “Smart” move which “hurt” their own cadres according to an article in an RSS magazine.
The NCP contested just 4 out 48 seats in Maharashtra; this may be their analysis. I can shoulder blame for low number of seats,” Bhujbal told media persons at Pune on Friday. It is wrong.
The cabinet minister went to Pune so as to have discussions with Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar regarding establishment of Bidwada Memorial.
He was frustrated by delays from government in construction.
“Two years have passed since the war on this piece but there has never been any movement,” said Bhujbal. When Ajit reached Pune I asked him this question.
According to him, the inaugural ceremony held last month had postponed before due to some reasons. Pawar confirmed that they were ready with everything however it would finally start next month.
He spoke about the paper’s comments: “Every person has his say when it comes to democracy; India is my motherland and I will forever work towards her growth.”
Media reports indicated that Bhujbal was angry when Sunetra Pawar got nominated yet NCP president says he heard it directly from colleagues’ mouths that he wasn’t sulking about anything.
He said there were rumors spread by some people such as opposition figures and “our close friends” which are not true at all.
Sunetra says she is ready to take on big responsibilities
The NCP chief Ajit Pawar’s wife Sunetra visited Pune on Friday after being nominated to the Rajya Sabha and was given a warm welcome by party workers. She said she was interested in taking up a ministerial position at the Centre.
Sunetra stated that she will continue with her work in Baramati constituency. “During the campaign, I toured every taluka. I’ll look into development of other talukas like Baramati,” she added.
