A video doing rounds on social media show Pakistani players walking through what looks like a lounge with television in the background showing IPL final played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Fans from Pakistan who after watching that video claimed their players “ignored IPL final” started firing at each other’s supporters as they engaged in war of words with those supporting cricket’s traditional rivalries among both neighboring countries.
Some members of media (Pakistani) went further ahead to make jokes about IPL which has been since inception 2007 made it best as well most competitive t20 league across globe.
Afterward, Pakistan caught-up by developing its own T20 franchise tournament called the Pakistan Super League. Nonetheless, no one can beat the popularity of IPL all over the world
