New Delhi: India and Sweden held their seventh external ministry consultations in Stockholm on Friday, marking the bilateral cooperation and a roadmap for further cooperation in areas such as innovation, sustainable development, trade and investment.

As stated in a press release by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the two countries discussed security issues such as cyber security and counter-terrorism and agreed to explore potential joint partnerships in the defense sector.
The MEA said in a press release: “Both sides welcomed the progress in various areas of bilateral cooperation and discussed the way forward in priority areas such as innovation and sustainable development, trade and investment, and emphasized the need to focus on emerging technologies such as semiconductors, green steel and green batteries.
