Shimla: A storm being brewed in Deira following the congress of the parliamentary constituencies gave just one ticket to Sukhwinder Singh Suhu who is the Chief Minister his wife Kamlesh Thakur is contesting in the assembly elections.
Rajesh Sharma displeased with being denied his voting rights organized a meeting with supporters on Wednesday after coming second in the 2022 Dera Provincial Assembly elections with 19,120 votes on Congress ticket.
This sudden change of situation resulted into Sharma getting denied the long-promised ticket thereby chieftain’s wife got discharged from Daraa too.
While speaking to his supporters, Sharma had a scare and was rushed to hospital. And now he is under observation by medical doctors.
The BJP has given this time a ticket to Hoshyar Singh who used to be an independent MP and won two provincial election consecutively in Dera, 2017-2022 (Kamlesh Thakur), It came as surprise to Congress.
My wife contested against my wills but I could not go against high command orders,’ said Suhu at reporters after Kamlesh Thakur received a ballot from Dera.
