Haryana Police Recruitment 2024: The Haryana State Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has reopened applications for Haryana Police recruitment. This comes after the release of the revised Common Eligibility Test (CET) results following a High Court order. The Supreme Court recently dismissed a petition seeking five additional points based on social and economic criteria.
Candidates who have passed CET will have to re-register for Haryana Police Recruitment. The application period is from June 29 to July 8, 2024. Their assertions of socio-economic standards will be removed. If eligible candidates want to apply again, they can use the link provided by HSSC.
The Haryana Police had first announced the recruitment process for 6,000 constable (general posts) posts in February. Among them, 5,000 are male candidates and 1,000 are female candidates. The reservation for 5,000 male posts is as follows: General Category (Non-ESM ESP) – 1,800, SC – 900, BCA – 700, BCB – 400, EWS – 500, ESM-GEN – 350, ESM-SC – 100, ESM -BCA – 100, and ESM-BCB-150.

• educate: Candidates must have passed 12th grade. They should learn Hindi or Sanskrit in class ten.
• age limit: Candidates should be between 18 and 25 years of age as on February 1, 2024. Therefore, non-reserved category candidates below the age of 28 years can apply. For EWS, SC and ST candidates, the age limit is 18 to 33 years. For OBC candidates, the maximum age is 31 years.

Age relaxation will be provided for reserved category candidates in Haryana as per state regulations. Candidates can apply online through the official HSSC recruitment portal.
selection process
The selection process includes a physical test and a knowledge test. The list of candidates for the physical test will be determined based on the candidates’ College English Band 4 test scores. The weightage of the knowledge test is 94.5%. Candidates with NCC certificate will receive an additional three points. The weight of socio-economic criteria is 2.5 points.
In the physical fitness test, male candidates must run 2.5 kilometers within 12 minutes. Female candidates must run 1 kilometer within 6 minutes.
