According to the police, Sangeeta Ghosia (33), and her father Kara Ghosia (58), brothers Haresh Ghosia (37) and Jayesh Ghosia (31) were arrested together with a relative in relation to Varjang Waja Samat Majethia murder. The accused was arrested after the victim’s brother Dinesh Waja lodged a complaint with Junagadh’s Shil police station alleging that his brother’s murder was a premeditated conspiracy. Preliminary investigation revealed that Varjan was following Sangeeta every time she visited the Mamadev temple in the village for the past few months.
Sangeeta had talked about him three days before this incident. Then her family decided to give Vanaraj a lesson. On June 23, Sangeeta and some of the members from her family attacked Varang when he came to the temple in night hours. They tied him up on a tree trunk where he died after being hit by sticks several times on his head as well as other parts of his body according to police sources.
