Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, has had his judicial custody extended until 8th August by Raus Avenue court based in Delhi. Consumer tax policy cases were brought before; they were filed by a corporate banker.
He was summoned through video conferencing from Tihar jail.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) of India has accused the Delhi Chief Minister of being the main conspirator in the case of excise policy irregularities.
The inquiry agency said that since March 2021, Nair had sought undue benefits from party’s policies on GST.
It claims that between June and January this year, Rs 444.45 million was channeled to Goa via “hawala channel” for AAP’s assembly poll campaign.
This is part of Rs 100 crore bribe taken by AAP as mentioned earlier in their charge sheet.
