Google Photos Google Photos’ web interface will become a more versatile platform as the company plans to introduce a dedicated “Documents” view. This new feature will mirror the existing functionality of other enabling mobile application also that users can access and manage their scan document PDF as well as other important documents from one place.
What does file view mean
Within this document view, users can easily peruse through their digital paperwork, look up for particular documents and allocate them into folders or albums. It is aim at making user friendly by combing photo management and file storage so that Google Photos becomes an all in one store for visual and textual content.
The internet version features auto-albums such as book, screenshot, event info etc that we could easily use without any extra effort which are similar to file-view on mobile devices. These albums may also be set to automatically archive content after 30 days.
You can access the document view on the web by visiting photos.google.com/u/0/documents. You will find the dedicated section on the right side where your specific files, screenshots, and other folders are located.
Google Photos is planning an Instagram Stories-like feature
Recently news came out that Google’s Photo App would soon get a feature call “My Week”, just like Instagram Stories, where people could select photos which have stood out during the week.
According to Android Authority’s post, Assemble Debug detected a code snippet enabling the “My Week” feature in Google Photos application most recently published. When switched ON for all users, there would be something like a tile with your name appearing on top-left corner which says “Introducing my week” plus an avatar picture and the button with “+” sign.
Selecting this tile brings you to its setting page with directions asking you for example; choose a photograph “that made you happy during last weeks”, because it has refreshed yourself or just made happier .
