However, the supposed lovebirds journey takes a dramatic turn when Aman is caught up by police following an allegation made by the girl’s family with respect to kidnapping. “The accused had allegedly managed to convince his girlfriend to go with him on trip to Goa,” said Mohanlalganj SHO Alok Rao.
Accordingly, Aman saved money for six months and planned their trip while making arrangements for flying Delhi first and then heading Goa. The SHO added that an investigation was launched after we received a complaint about kidnapping from relatives of the girl.
Following surveillance and internet resources, police traced digital trails in Oman’s emails and discovered flight booking messages; consequently, on Saturday at Goa airport they intercepted the couple according to a senior cop.
The SHO also added that now police will record the girls’ statement so as to know whether she was forced into travelling.
