Ghulam Nabi Azad leader of the Democratic Progressive Liberal Party will not campaign for party candidates during election season which is campaigning of the jammu and kashmir parliamentary electionsjjj because of these health problems.

Azad, in September 2022 while remaining the member of congress party, decided to change and named his political party as the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP). By opting out of the race.

Conditions as such may provoke them to fetch the votes even without a known face in other seats in Chenab Valley in Jammu region. Some time back, DPAP declared the names of the candidates given for JammuJanni assembly term, ex-jammu and Kashmir ministers Abdul Majeed Wani will contest from Duda East assembly segment, former MP Mohammad Amin Butt and ex-attorney general of Jammu and Kashmir Aslam Goni will contest from devsar.
